Chandigarh Smart City Limited is setting up a unified control room to manage multiple services such as water supply, bike-sharing, streetlights, and waste management. The city is also working on projects including 24×7 water supply, removal of legacy waste, redevelopment of the railway station, and the Tricity metro project. Other projects include the rejuvenation of Sector 17, a multi-feature park in Panchkula, smart parking, a new cricket stadium, and the construction of an AYUSH hospital. E-challaning for traffic violations, the Greenfield road project, and the completion of various road projects are also in progress.
