The ‘Kannada Okkuta’, a collective representing various Kannada organizations including factions of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, Kannada Chalavali (Vatal Paksha), and farmers’ groups, has called for a statewide shutdown from dawn to dusk (6am to 6pm).
