Jailed gangster Chhota Rajan has been denied an injunction against the release of the Netflix series ‘Scoop’ by the Bombay high court. Rajan claims that using his photograph without permission in the series is a copyright violation. The court has allowed Rajan to amend his commercial intellectual property suit to include the challenge. The court has directed Hansal Mehta and Netflix to file their replies to the suit and has posted the hearing to June 7.
