Former MP Atiq Ahmed and his son Ali, along with associates, have been booked in a case of threatening and extortion. The complaint was filed by Sabir Hussain, who claimed that Atiq’s son and associates had pointed a pistol at him and threatened him to stop pursuing cases against Atiq. Sabir also claimed that he was assaulted when he refused to accompany Atiq’s cousin to meet Atiq in Gujrat. Further investigations are being carried out.
