Violent clashes between two groups in Gajrajnagar, Ahmednagar, left seven people injured. A WhatsApp post was blamed for the conflict, in which a car and two-wheelers were damaged. Fifteen people have been arrested on charges of rioting, violence and vandalism. The accused are being held in custody by MIDC police, and the injured are being treated in hospital. Police are urging residents to ignore social media posts based on rumours and to maintain peace in the city.
