Gautam, who had unsuccessfully contested the 2017 assembly elections on an AAP ticket from Anandpur Sahib constituency, is a registered homeopath. The Chief Minister’s Office had cleared his appointment on February 26 at the same time as it appointed several other party leaders to different boards and corporations.
