The BMC plans to beautify Dadar’s Shivaji Park by setting up smog towers, increasing greenery, and renovating the Samarth Vyayam Mandir and Scout Guide Hall. The park will also feature the tallest tricolour in the country. However, some residents oppose the plans, stating that the park should be preserved as a playing ground. The 2021 project to grow grass was halted due to criticism.
