MIDC has assured industrialists in Taloja, Panvel that it will resolve the long pending water supply issue faced by the Taloja industries. A meeting was held following a threat by the Taloja Industries Association (TIA) to launch an agitation if no remedial measures are taken. MIDC has given both short term and long term measures to curb the water supply issue in the region. TIA has complained about a shortage of water supply, affecting production and causing losses for the industrialists. MIDC has requested TIA to withdraw its planned agitation.
