Communal violence in Nuh, India has disrupted the meat supply chain in nearby Gurugram, leaving shops with depleted stocks. Nuh supplies around 70% of Gurugram’s meat, but since the violence erupted, supply chains have been affected. Some shops are now sourcing meat from Delhi or local poultry farms. The disruption has also impacted businesses in Delhi, with approximately 15% of retail traders relying on supplies from Nuh. Traders have reported right-wing groups visiting markets and requesting closures on Tuesdays.
