Prayagraj Municipal Corporation will spend ₹23 crore ($3.1m) to improve basic facilities in newly added areas of Sangam city, installing 5,000 streetlights and developing 25 roads and drains. The areas are home to around 50,000 houses, according to civic officials. The plan also includes installing seven tube wells. The proposal will be sent to the state government for budget approval.
