Police and NCERT officials conducted raids in Gurugram’s Sadar market, seizing nearly one lakh pirated NCERT books for classes 6 to 12 worth lakhs of rupees. The shopkeepers were selling poor quality pirated books at cheaper rates, causing huge revenue loss to NCERT. The books were being supplied by various suppliers.
